History
DATA was originally founded by D. Harold Law and incorporated in the state of Missouri in 1986 and received its 8(a) certification under the Small Business Administration (SBA) in the samy year. DATA successfully graduated from the 8(a) program in 1996 and became a certified small disadvantaged business (SDB). DATA was acquired by Gary G. Gustafson in 2003 and became incorporated in the state of Alabama in 2004. DATA has its corporate headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama which is in Madison County and has expanded its business to three field offices at various U.S. military installations in the continental United States. DATA currently has 16 employees. DATA has had 13 successful years of managing and performing contractual efforts as a prime contractor with Army aviation and troop support systems since its founding. DATA competed successfully the 8(a) Programmatic Prime Contractor under the Programmatic and Technical Support (PATS) III contract at AMCOM and also was the 8(a) Programmatic Prime Contractor under the PATS II contract at ATCOM, providing various functional areas of programmatic services as described under PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PS5 for Attack Helicopters, Heavy Lift Cargo Helicopters, Utility Helicopters, Fixed-Wing Aircraft, Air Traffic Control Systems, Aviation Electronic Combat Systems, and Aviation Technology Development. DATA has had an additional five successful years of managing and performing contractual efforts as a sub contractor with Army aviation and missile support systems since 1997. DATA also has strong in-house experience and capability in Operations Research and Systems Analysis as described under the PS8 functional area. DATA has in-depth knowledge and experience in Army Sample Data Collection (SDC) Program. DATA was the Prime Contractor on the Aviation, Troop Support and the Artillery SDC contract. DATA was also the Prime Contractor for the Army Medical Material Activity under the Deployable Medical Systems, SDC contract. DATA developed and maintained specialized computer programs and databases to enhance the SDC efforts and extract useful and timely information from collected data through in-depth, well-balanced and direct aviation and troop capabilities and experience. DATA has earned its reputation in the Army communities for quality services, professionalism.
